Inbound tourists to Beijing drop 30.2 percent in July

According to reports, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the Beijing Survey Team under the National Bureau of Statistics jointly released on the 19th that in July, Beijing received a total of 270,000 inbound tourists, down 30.2 percent from the same period last year.



From Beijing's three main source countries, inbound tourists in July showed a downward trend. Beijing received 42,000 United States tourists, down 29.6 percent from the same period last year; received 29,000 Korean tourists, down 30.3 percent from the same period last year; and received 26,000 Japanese tourists, down 47.1 percent from the same period of last year.



From intercontinental source markets, the number of tourists from Asia, Europe, America, Oceania and Africa all show different degrees of decline.
